Tips for home business owners
I write this as the average Jane trying to make a living online with a website and hopes and dreams. To make my life as well as other people's lives better through my business is my goal. If you are like me, the 9-5 job is so old and far from making any ends meet that I search and try to find a better way. We know its out there, we keep hearing, reading, and get it thrown in our faces every where we look any more. Hype is what I'm talking about. Sure we all want to be financially free and make all this money from home that all these gurus talk about and brag about. But How? Where? What? Is it real? Is it legitimate? Is it a scam? Please do your homework first about the business you might be thinking about joining. I did a little over 6 months of research to pick the right business and then the right team. In this day and age it seems someone is always trying to sell you something or asking to pay a small sum to learn something or promising you big bucks in a short amount of time with little work and effort. I'm telling you if you don't already agree, it isn't possible unless you have thousands of dollars to pay someone else to do all the work for you. I sit here day in and day out and try to learn everything I can about free advertising and website submission and download all kinds of free reports and read blogs etc. etc... Maybe you are right here with me. If you are, well,hang in there you will make it if you just stay focused on your current task. I am learning not be disracted by all the ads that pop up on the side of webpages I visit. Before you know it 3 hours have went by and what did you get done? Nothing, absolutely nothing, but wasting time trying to find the next best thing or way to promote your website. Please of all things, I say again, is just stay focused on that website promotion page or ad submisssion page you are on and finish your business there first before clicking on that link that seems so irrestible at that moment. Then you will have your ad placed and begin to draw traffic and earn credits if your on a traffic exchange site or free classified ad site.
I guess all I can say again. Is just stay focused on that page your on and accomplish that one task and then move on to that irresistable link in a new window.
I have wasted so much time clicking on all those links and then lose where I was and wasted so much time and have no ads submitted and nothing but frustration. Know what I mean? I don't want you to go through that. It just makes you feel like you got nothing done all day. Stay focused and believe in your dreams, you will succeed. Don't ever give up. Learn all you can to help promote yourself or your home business and you will make it. Stick with it, it takes time but you will succeed if you don't give up.
